This may not be the right place to ask for information about this, but I can't find any resources to answer my questions. If I'm in the wrong place, could someone please kindly point me in the correct direction?

Does anyone know how I might be able to get the state to back off of my ex? He owes a significant amount of back support and their collection efforts on my behalf interfere with his ability to support himself, much less anyone else.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
