Don't start with a lawyer start with a qualified psychologist for you and your child. Insure you are not adding to the problem and assess the damage to your children.

Understand the problem before you spend money on lawyers. While lawyers have a bad reputation Judges should have a worse one. The goal of any court is to maintain the status quo (do nothing). You have to have a very clear argrument and professional support for your opinion.

Then use court as a threat to get your ex involved in the solution. If that works the result is much better and more effective than relying on the court.

Use the courts as your last effort but do not delay.
